The The Donald C. Hellmann Task Force Program is the senior capstone for international studies majors in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. Task Force participants are required to generate policy recommendations for globally significant issues like climate change, cyber security, and nuclear energy. They are then evaluated and questioned by high-ranking international officials ranging from diplomats to former Deputy Secretaries of Defense. This is the story of two Task Force alums on a journey to make positive change in the world.
