In this video, I talk about the time that I had to escape my family home in the middle of the night for the sake of my own personal freedom (for the FIRST time). It was not easy and it was definitely not fun. However, it was the best thing that I ever did for myself… EVER! The only reason my life looks the way it does today is because I gathered up the courage to take such painful steps 3+ years ago. If you are in a similar situation now, just know that you DO have the strength to get away from an environment that does not support your growth. Take this as a sign from the universe and start working on doing the thing! It might take some time to get everything set up for yourself so that you have somewhere safe to go but you HAVE to start the process as soon as possible. Only YOU can save yourself. I am not going to lie. It will probably be the hardest thing that you have ever done in your entire life. You will face crushing self-doubt, guilt, and heartache but once you get to the other side, its all uphill from there.
