How do you cope with the realization that maybe the belief systems you grew up with your whole life aren’t the ultimate truth? Whether that belief structure concerns the trust you had in a religion or the trust that you had in your society’s overarching systems - it doesn’t matter. The unraveling of any form of perceived reality can be extremely destabilizing. When nobody can give you an accurate and concise answer of what the truth is, when there are SO many “truths” floating around, each with a devoted group of believers, how can you figure out which one to pick? In this video, I share the insight that I have uncovered after leaving Islam 4 years ago and struggling with this very situation. There is no one perceivable truth. With each of our unique life experiences, we interpret a different truth to our external reality. There IS one absolute truth, but we as human individuals, with our limited range of consciousness, can only perceive a small slice of it. We may share a part of our slice with others, but not all of it. How can you uncover your own personal slice? Listen to your intuition/inner guidance! Only YOU can know your truth because only YOU can have the experiences that you have. Don’t let anybody else dictate what your truth is. Reclaim your power! Reality is more fluid than you think… what we believe is what we perceive! Choose your thoughts wisely. Your thoughts create your beliefs which then determine how you perceive the events in your life and therefore how you FEEL.
