It’s still unsure whether she’s dead or not, yet things really weren’t looking good for her. That said, she may get her revenge by having Lachlan convinced for his horrendous crimes thanks to a secret message she left in the shack in the woods where she was being held captive. Lachlan was under the impression that he had sorted everything out after dealing with Rebecca, yet things will start to spiral out of control for Emmerdale’s 18-year-old serial killer when Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) takes an interest in the glamping site in the woods. Priya wants to use the site for a business idea, yet gets suspicious when she sees that the shack has recently been cleaned, suggesting that someone has been living there. She hires a dog patrol in the hope of catching the trespasser red-handed, yet little does she know that she’s about to stumble upon a crime scene. Lachlan wants to check the shack one last time to make entirely sure that he hasn’t left any clues behind and manages to sneak past the security guard and his dog. Yet, when he’s inside the shack, he spots the incriminating message that Rebecca had left behind which could spell the end for him. Lachlan attempts to remove Rebecca’s message, which reads “Lachlan is a killer”, yet he’s interrupted by Priya who comes into the shack wanting to measure it. Lachlan then hides behind a wall with a tree branch in his hand as he contemplates returning to his murderous ways in order to get out of this challenging situation. There’s a very good chance that Priya will see the message unless Lachlan does something drastic, yet she’s also accompanied by a security guard and a dog. Killing all three of them will be difficult, even for Lachlan. Will Priya read the message and start piecing it all together, or will Lachlan fight for his freedom? Thomas Atkinson recently revealed: "Lachlan is worried about the message from Rebecca. It'd be a terrible thing for people to find out, so he's got to think about how he can get rid of that without anybody seeing what he's doing. "Priya does see Lachlan at the cabin, and he says that he's out for a run. She doesn't really believe him.” He continued: “She's definitely in danger – anyone who is messing with Lachlan's safety and his relationship with Belle, is potentially not going to have a great ending." "The clock is definitely ticking on Lachlan's crimes. He's losing control at this point completely. “He's clutching at straws and doesn't know what he's going to do next. Throughout his story, he's had loose control on everything. But at this point, it's unravelling,” he finished. It does look like Lachlan’s murderous rampage will finally come to an abrupt end. All that remains to be seen is whether he’ll take Priya out with him. Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV at 7pm.
