Uncle Steven T.V.'s video: Steve Williams Plays Justin Timberlake Medley

*I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MUSIC YOU WILL HEAR* This time I’m back with another cover from Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids! I always sat on the idea of doing one of their live arrangements from the TWO YEAR 20/20 Experience tour. I couldn’t decide on which songs to due until THIS! This performance was one I had to cover. I do have one major mistake in the performance of this video see if you catch it! I was going to fix it but you can’t be any more human than making a mistake after playing a song over and over! I’m cool with it! Video quality isn’t the best, I had the lights dimmed because it helped feel the music better. I also want the focus to be on the MUSIC anyway. *Drum and Tech Stuff* The drums featured here is my acrylic shell kit. If you’ve ever heard one live and tuned well, you know the power these things poses! The tone is crisp and full of body at the same time! The floor toms have a high end snap at the top but GROWL as the note rings out! It’s a very unique sound, a class all by itself! Aluminum is my favorite shell material for snare drums. Here I’m using a vintage 1970s Gretsch 6 lug, 14x5 snare drum. The side snare is a Mapex Aluminum 14x6. Third snare is a Pearl 10x4 Sopranino Snare I play Istanbul Agop Cymbals and Promark Drumsticks exclusively! With this mic’ing situation I went with what would be industry standard live mics. Wanted to replicate a sound as if I were performing live. Kick In: Sure Beta 91 Kick Out: Sure Beta 98 Snare Top and Bottom: Sure SM57 Hats and Ride: Sure Sm 81 Rack Toms: Sure Beta 98 (Latest Model) Floor Toms: Senheiser E 604 OverHeads: Audix CX112 (Not so standard) Again no sound replacing is ever used on my videos. Being that I’m playing over the top of the pre recorded drums, sometimes you’ll hear our snare drums hit at the same time so you may get a slight clash from time to time.
