How to repair a leaking outside tap. The first thing to do is make sure the tap is turned off, Then unscrew the tap handle to give better access to gland nut. Remove Gland nut and wind PTFEtape around spindle,gently push tape into tap body and screw gland nut back down. Repeat this process again and refit nut and tap handle to test it, if it still leaks repeat the process.
