Die Amerikaner haben Spaß an leistungsstarken Autos, aber die Messe in Kalifornien hat auch den Ruf, besonders ökologisch orientiert zu sein. Für Audi eine wichtige Messe, denn zum einen lieben die US-Amerikaner die Marke mit den vier Ringen. Zum anderen ist die Show eine gute Plattform um die e-tron-Modelle zu promoten. Angefangen bei e-tron-Einsteiger-Modell - dem A3 - bis hin zum Auto der Zukunft.
