Unity Manhattan KS's video: 6 13 21 Seeking Our Blessings by Rev B J Banks

In this third installment of Sunday messages about prosperity, Rev B J speaks about the second aspect of Jesus’ formula for prosperity presented in Matthew 7:7 as “Seek and you will find.” She explores the idea of seeking, what we seek and how we seek our good. One thing Rev B J says we should think about is that if we are seeking something, on some level we must have been alerted on some level that the Divine Idea which is the foundational substance from which our good manifests, is ready to be found and claimed by us. Invisible Divine Ideas await our claim on them and depend upon our finding them so that we can give them shape and from and birth them into our expressions and experiences called life. This alert to start seeking often comes through to us as a feeling of discontent and that something is missing in our lives. It is “the call of soul’ or the “call of the Spirit in us,” ringing the dinner bell for Divine ideas, “Come and get it” – the fulfillment of your need or desire is ready for you. And so we become seekers. Rev B J speaks about the trinity of three spiritual abilities we have bene born with which work together to help us bring our desired good into manifestation: Love, Faith and the Imagination. She explains how these three lend their energy to our process of finding the good we seek. The assignment this week is to find or create a picture to use as a symbol or find a word which can represent for us, the good we are seeking to experience in our lives. Place these on a card that we can carry with us to remind us that the good we are seeking we already have it now in consciousness. We are to follow inner guidance in the doing of outer things to help this process going on within us and in Divine love, Divine Order and Divine Timing we will experience the outer form of the good we desire and seek.
