The University of Wisconsin-Stout in partnership with SkillsUSA Wisconsin empowers middle and high school students to discover and grow their career interests through hands-on experiences. Every year UW-Stout reaches out to area students by hosting the SkillsUSA Regional Skills and Leadership Competition that gives middle and high school students access to campus professors, laboratories, software programs, technology, tools, equipment, and high-tech machines. We aren’t your average four-year college. Our polytechnic approach to education is hands-on and career-focused. Our campus features three times as many labs as classrooms and we also have an extensive array of online offerings.
