A Detroit man with no criminal history spent three days in jail. After police stopped him, beaten and arrested him for jaywalking, in Greektown 2017. He was charged with nothing. The arrest led to a civil lawsuit, setting month for $45.000. What I find disturbing is that there were visibly many other civilians walking across the road. Including two people about 6-8 ft next to them, and they weren't taken down like this man. These cops with shiny badges, must have some of those extra rights that come with it. Just remember the Supreme Court has ruled on multiple occasions that police have no constitutional to protect you.....So ask yourself this why, do they exist then?
