Jan, 28, 2019 Newark Police video shows the traffic stop, and pursuit that lead to Newark officer Jovanny Crespo, after he jumped out of a cruiser, and fired on fleeing vehicle three times killing the driver, and seriously injuring the passenger, during the chase. Crespo, 26, was indicted for charges including aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and two counts of official misconduct. So the now dead guy pointed a gun through the tinted glass on his car, in the dark of night? Hmmmm 🤔 Rules of engagement shooting at a moving target...shooting into a tinted vehicle without being able to see inside..I think his adrenaline was running high.. he's f**k up..it is what it is...Driver dead he's charged..but highly likely it will be dropped. That was murder, plain and simple. That cop life was not in danger, he CHOSE to run along side that car and shoot. What I did find important, and of possible relevance was that his partner Hector Ortiz, needed to continually, and repeatly tell him to calm down, and relax.
