UptownDanRam's video: Cartoon Network - Super Adventures Opening 1992-1994

"Super Adventures" was the inaugural action cartoon block on Cartoon Network, having premiered alongside the channel on "Day One" (October 1, 1992) at 4:00 PM. The "granddaddy" of all future action blocks on CN, including it's most famous successor "Toonami", "Super Adventures" ran from 1992-1995. As you can tell from the intro, the block was home to most '60's- '80's Hanna-Barbera & Ruby-Spears action shows from Turner's library, such as "Jonny Quest" "Space Ghost", "Birdman", "Fantastic Four", "The Galaxy Trio", "Plastic Man", "Thundarr The Barbarian" and many others. Late in it's life, before being replaced by "Afternoon Adventures", SA was also home to CN's first anime, "G-Force", and their first outside action acquisition, "James Bond Jr.". It also aired Turner's then-newest action series: "Captain Planet" and "SWAT Kats". Enjoy!!!
