UrFight Road Show: Sugar Bert Boxing Promotion Atlanta Georgia 2013-22-09 The UrFight Team headed south to the Sugar Bert Boxing Promotion in Atlanta, GA, November 9th 2013. The Team has made several trips down to ATL, and it is becoming one of their favorite stops. Friday night, the UrFigth Team enjoyed a little rest and relaxation as they headed to downtown Atlanta. The fastest growing apprel company in Mixed Martial Arts enjoyed a little culture at the Alliance Theatre. This is the second time to the Alliance, Atlanta Tony Award-winning theatre to see Warrior Class. Warrior Class, a short play with political banter and underlying current events was a great way to spend a Friday night. Saturday Night was fight night, Sugar Bert Boxing Promotions hosted a sensational, 'Knockout Night' with 10 bouts of professional boxing featuring a line-up of local and international fighters. The Sugar Bert Boxing Promotion put on a great event. The UrFight Team was greeted immediately by the leaders of the promotion and were very professional and organized. The night started off with some live music, a little rap and some excellent vocals and one of the best national anthems we have heard. The crowd was energetic and security was on hand just incase anyone got too energetic. This is the first time Team UrFight has stopped in Georgia for a boxing event, so many of the fighters the on the fight card are new to the team. The fight card was well matched with many of the fights going the distanced and being very exciting. The overall promotion of the show was great, but the venue could use a little work. The venue setup was great with plenty of seating (around 1000 people in attendance) and good traffic flow of the crowd. There were 2 bars and 1 concession area that was able to keep the crowd from getting thirsty or hungry. The venue was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The only complaint about the venue would be both bathrooms. If you were in attendance, you know what I am talking about. The Sugar Bert Boxing Promotion is a top tier promotion. They provided a full fight card of competitive fights at a good venue. The music was censored and provided an energetic and family friendly atmosphere. Great show - Keep up the great work.
