Aasif Masih and his cousin Shaan Masih, both Christian employees of the sanitation department, bravely entered the drain for their duty. However, the poisonous gas overwhelmed them, causing them to collapse. Despite desperate efforts, they couldn’t make it out alive. Aasif and Shaan were both guardians of three children each. Their tragic deaths highlight the risks faced by sanitation workers who labor tirelessly to keep our cities clean.
