Gopalkot गोपाल कोट | part 3 उत्तराखंड के जिला -बागेश्वर , तहसील-गरुड़ , न्याय पंचायत- भगरतोला ( द्यौनाई घाटी) के आखिरी गाँव रणकुडी से लगभग चार कि. मी. की खड़ी चढ़ाई के बाद आता है - गोपाल कोट | विकास खंड - गरुड़ अर्थात कत्यूर क्षेत्र में भिलकोट, भिटारकोट तथा गोपाल कोट स्थित हैं | गोपाल कोट के संदर्भ में ताम्र पत्र के अनुसार कोट भ्रामरी देवी, महमाई देवी की प्रतिष्ठा कर राजा जगत चन्द शाके 1634 में, राजा देवी चन्द द्वारा शाके 1648 में कत्यूर घाटी क्षेत्र के कई स्थलों से तेल , गुड़, घी , दाल, नमक, चावल आदि की ब्यवस्था कर प्रतिदिन दो समय पूजा व अखंड दिया जलाने हेतु जो ब्यवस्था की गई है, इसमें गोपाल कोट का उल्लेख भी मिलता है | रणकुड़ी में दो छोटे से लघु कोट विद्यमान हैं | जिन्हें तल्ला व मल्ला रणकुड़ी कहा जाता है |रणकुड़ी का शाब्दिक अर्थ है -रण- अर्थात लड़ने वाले , कुड़ी -अर्थात उनका घर अथवा निवास स्थान |तल्ला व मल्ला रणकुड़ी के मध्य लगभग 200 मीटर की दूरी विद्यमान है |रणकुड़ी के उत्तरी भाग में अवस्थित गरूड़ शिला से गरुड़ नदी व दक्षिणी भाग सरोली गाँव की तरफ से टोटीगाड़ वृद्ध वागेश्वर पर गरुड़ गंगा पर मिलते हैं | वर्तमान में श्री मादो नाथ जी जो रणकुड़ी गाँव के निवासी हैं , उन्होंने सन् 1992 से गोपाल कोट मेंआदि शक्ति दुर्गा मांता मन्दिर का जीर्णोद्धार व दो धर्म - शालाओं का निर्माण कर वे प्रत्येक वर्ष श्रावण मास के शुक्ल पक्ष में रामायण का पाठ व पूजा अर्चना कराते आ रहे हैं |वैसे गोपाल कोट में 1970 के दशक से ही पूजा पाठ होतीआ रही है | यहाँ पूजा पाठ पूरे द्यौनाई क्षेत्र के समस्त लोगों के सहयोग से किया जाता है | __________________________________________________________ District of Uttarakhand - Bageshwar, Tehsil - Garuda, Nyaya Panchayat - about four km from Ranakudi, the last village of Bhagartola (Dionai Valley). Those are called Talla and Malla Ranakudi. Rankudi literally means -ran- meaning fighters, kudi-ie their house or place of residence. Talla and Malla are about 200 meters distance between Ranakudi. Located in the northern part of Ranakudi. The Garuda Ganga meets Garuda River and the southern part of the village of Saroli, on the Totigad old Vageshwar, on the Garuda Ganga. Presently Shri Mado Nath ji who is a resident of Ranakudi village has renovated and built two Shakti Durga Mata temples and two religious schools in Gopal Kot since 1992 and every year he recites Ramayana and worships in Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. In the Gopal Kot, Puja recitations have been taking place since the 1970s.
