VDO English's video: 21st Century Cup HK Region Primary and Secondary Categories semi-final

200 contestants, neatly attired, filed in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, participated in the semi-final of the Primary and Secondary Categories of the “21st Century Cup” English Speaking Competition (Hong Kong Region). Up to this stage, they had excelled over 3,000 of their peers in the online preliminary round. Within just 2 minutes’ time, young orators in the Primary School Categories shared passionately their ideas on what counts as something incredible and a full-blossom success out of nothing, while their older counterparts seized this chance to poured out their personal takes on why courage is a quiet voice and brainstormed how to be a change-maker in today’s Hong Kong, stretching their imaginations to a full length. 40 contestants will step into the next stage, the ultimate final on 15th of the July, continuing their pursuits for excellency.
