Season 9 of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya brings to you stories of eternal unrequited love. This story is about two parallel love stories during the partition of India-Pakistan. Puro, the apple of her father’s eye was an extremely understanding and giving person. She adored her younger brother, Trilok and made sure he is always happy. Both of them were to marry Ramcharan and Simran respectively, who were siblings as well and they lived with their Biji. Puro and Trilok along with their parents head to their in laws village to celebrate Lohri and begin the wedding preparations. Puro and Ramcharan maintained a dignified distance from each other and had mutual admiration whereas Trilok and Simran didn’t start on a great note and were seen having frequent spats with each other. Everything seemed to be going on in a steady pace until a young Muslim boy, Rashid stormed into the house and kidnapped Puro in vengeance to what her family did to his family a long time ago. Puro’s father begs to Rashid and his mother for Puro but in vain. In order to save the dignity of both the families they decide to go ahead with the wedding of Trilok and Simran and Ramcharan with Puro’s cousin, Rajjo. Trilok is unaware of Puro’s kidnapping as he was at Delhi for some work so the family decides to keep it a secret and covers it up with a lie to carry on the wedding. Meanwhile Puro escapes from Rashid’s house and comes back to where her family is and to her shock sees the two weddings taking place right before her. Will Puro be accepted by her family? He is also secretly admired by his colleague Deepika. Everybody seems to be liking him except his senior doctor, Mr. Mathur. Mr. Mathur and a couple of other senior doctors head to a doctor’s conference out of city, leaving Deepika, Anubhav and a couple of more junior doctors to handle the hospital in their absence. Soon after the senior doctors have left, Anubhav and the rest of them are faced with a situation never seen before. The hospital gets flooded with innumerable injured casualties following an accident of a bus in their city. Anubhav against the orders of Mr. Mathur decides to operate on one of the patients due to the critical situation and manages to save her life. When she wakes up, Anubhav realizes she has lost her memory due to trauma and decides to name her Niyati. Niyati and Anubhav get extremely close to each other over the next few weeks. Anubhav is dedicated to Niyati not only because she is his first patient ever but also because he feels extremely protective about her. On the other hand, Niyati enjoys the love and care of Anubhav but often encounters nightmares reminding her of a past she doesn’t want to go back to. While their love blossoms, there is somebody who seems extremely unhappy with it, which is Deepika. Will Anubhav and Niyati’s relationship build further or will Niyati’s past and Deepika’s intrusion mark an end of another beautiful love story?
