The new Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 by Illumination is hitting cinemas in 2025.... wayy back in 2020 I created a fan trailer for a new Super Mario Bros movie. It was.... remarkably similar to the finished product. I've removed Chris Pratt, I've tweaked the intro... and spliced it all together to give you this extended intro sequence! I based my trailer on the 1990's live action Mario movie... I tried to tie the recreate the original storyline and came up with something that I thought worked really well.. There's been massive debate online about how this Nintendo Mario Bros movie will work, especially with Chris Pratt playing the character of Mario.
