The elegant décor of this spacious suite is combined with the latest user-friendly technology; with a kitchenette and dining area as well as a guest cloakroom the Terrace Suite offers a sublime sanctuary for escapism.   One Aldwych occupies one of London’s stand-out buildings. The triangular building which sits at the end of The Strand, opposite Waterloo Bridge. With over 400 pieces in the hotel’s private art collection, guests are always excited by the contemporary art and sculpture that is on display throughout the property. The flowers at One Aldwych are one of the hotel’s defining features, from the unmissable displays in The Lobby Bar to the individual arrangements in each bedroom. Sir Winston Churchill was associated with the hotel building in 1926 when, as Chancellor of the Exchequer, he became editor of The British Gazette. The short-lived newspaper was published by the Government during the nine-day General Strike and was printed on the presses of the Morning Post which were situated in the basement, where the hotel's swimming pool currently sits.
