Valley Village News's video: Menifee Tornado VNN

@Menifee Tornado VNN
A land-spout tornado formed briefly in Sun City this past weekend, a possible precursor to thunderstorm conditions in the Inland Empire this week, according to the National Weather Service. The tornado was reported at 2:45 p.m. and lasted only for a matter of minutes. According to NWS, these tornadoes occur when northwest and southeast sea breezes converge near the Santa Ana Mountains, creating a horizontal wind shear that rises and forms a land-spout.
