TVUSD Board President Dr. Komrosky and Trustee Gonzalez hold a press conference in response to a June 1st memo that went out to all California County and District superintendents and charter school administrators. The state is taking a position against restricting the removal of books from school libraries and curriculum. Dr. Komrosky and Trustee Gonzalez cited school board codes, giving authority to reject any vulgar, obscene, and pornographic material for ages K - 5. It was reported that the memo was specifically in response to TVUSD actions.
