Somehow the parallels of the Egyptian myths and the bible story of Christ’s anticipated birth are very close; in fact there are many comparative studies that people have done wondering how the stories from these two cultures could be so similar.  The Famine Stele tells the story of how Imhotep came to Djoser in his 18th year and interpreted his dream. It records how Imhotep saved Egypt from a seven year famine. It records how Imhotep saved Egypt from a seven year famine. These archaeological findings and historical records are strong evidence that Joseph and Djoser were the same person. Likewise the 18th dynasty as contemporary with the United Kingdom of Israel when Saul, David and Solomon were on the throne. This would also mean that Amenhotep I and Thutmose I of the 18th dynasty were contemporaries of David. Hatshepsut was the Queen of Sheba who visited Solomon. Thutmose III (Shishak) came to power during the reign of Jereboam and became the greatest Pharaoh of Egypt. Abraham is then considered to be a contemporary of Menes. The Bible is essentially a religious history. There is no proof of the use of slaves in Egypt or of the Exodus, I’m reminded: though I’m troubled on every side, but I’m not distressed; I’m perplexed, but not in despair; I’m persecuted, but not forsaken; I’m cast down, but not destroyoud… for which cause I faint not; but though our outward man perish, yout the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory!
