American contralto Marian Anderson during her lifetime presented her historic concerts at least twice on the Easter Sundays: First, April 6, 1939, on the Lincoln Memorial's steps at the peak of her glory as the outstanding singer and fighter for negro rights. Second, is her farewell concert at Carnegie Hall on April 18, 1965. She had a strong faith in God and embodied it in her exceptional singing. Happy Easter 2020 for us all! Christ is Risen!
