@500 Years of Immortality -- Raphael and the High Renaissance -- Washington, DC -- April 2020
Raphaello Sanzio or Santi da Urbino born April 6, 1483 died at his 37th birthday in Rome. The Short Tremendous Life! Mozart got two years less for his life than Raphael. However, it was enough to create an immortal music! His greatest accomplishments compare to Raphael's by the absolute scale of the artistic perfection.. Mozart's motet "Exsultate, jubilate", K 165, was created after his trip to Italy. And it was first performed in Milan in January 1773 on the brink of Mozart's seventeenth birthday. The Young Genius of Absolute music inspired the Russian ascending soprano of the world best vocals, namely Julia Lezhneva to perform this motet in 2011 with Il Giardino Armonico and Giovanni Antonini. Its third movement -- "To virginum corona" -- presented here like the singing duo with an exposition " Raphael and the High Renaissance" of National Gallery of Art, DC. Have a good time!
