Vasili Sha's video: DEGAS at the OP RA -- Washington DC -- August 31 2020

Coming the 103rd Anniversary of Edgar Degas death (September 27, 1917), is almost coincided with my visit the exhibition at the National Gallery of Art to enjoy the treasures of the Degas paintings dedicated to the most dynamic art of moving soul & body -- the ballet. My report presented here have been produced my life-long love to music of the ballet and to the art of colorful brush of Degas. And it would not be possible in this outline without Russian composer Rodion Shchedrin whose Carmen Suite doesn't yield in my opinion to its primary source from Georges Bizet. Two parts of the Carmen Suite 'Torero and Carmen" and "Torero" performed here by the Ukrainian State Symphony Orchestra under American conductor Theodore Kuchar.
