Vegan Travel Diaries's video: PINNACLE DESERT: a different planet

@๐Ÿช PINNACLE DESERT: a different planet
๐Ÿš— While in Perth (Western Australia) we have decided to hire a small car for a couple of days to visit a bit of the north coast. Western Australia is huge so distances between locations are massive and in a couple of days only a tiny part can be covered. But we still managed to reach some unreal spots: one of them is the PINNACLE DESERT. ๐Ÿœ๏ธ Located about 2 hours driving from the city of Perth, this place will make you feel like being on a different planet. The Pinnacles are amazing natural limestone structures, formed approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells. Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed to the elements. The Pinnacles range in height and dimension - some stand as high as 3.5m! ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Thereโ€™s a $15 fee per vehicle to access the park and all of it is easy to drive around, so you can easily stop anywhere you wish to take your pics and admire these natural surreal beauties. โฐ Best times of the day to visit? Certainly early morning (or sunset time) to avoid heat, tourists and most importantly..flies! Have you ever been to a place that felt like a different planet? Where was it?
