"Any time is a good time to start a company."--Ron Conway, Investor, SV angel A demo day for "Lean Start-up Management" for & School students was organized at . Students demonstrated their innovative start-up projects on a plethora of ideas, including e-learning, healthcare/medical equipment, criminal identification systems, influencer marketing, a job portal for the handicapped, a drivers drowsiness alerting system, environmental recycling, a single app for , house help services, online laundry, and organic farming, among others. Dr.VG Sridhar, Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC), VIT, Vellore, initiated this start-up demo for students to identify business opportunities that involve technical expertise. Some of the start-up ideas will be funded by (VIT-TBI) through its different funding schemes. The event was also graced by our Chancellor, Dr. G. Viswanathan, who encouraged the students for their innovativeness and out-of-the-box ideas and wished them the best for their project success.
