Start of this adventure was on the Šatorsko lake. From there, we hiked all the way to the top of mt. Šator, called Veliki Šator (1873 meters). The hiking trail is steep, twisty and overgrowned, so it's hard to see the obstacles on it. The same goes for descent from Babina Greda, the nearby peak. But, harder the trail, greater the reward. The most difficult part was descent to Šator lake, because this part of the hiking trail was littered with loose rocks and tight swithcbacks. Not to mention the rock steps..
