Every year millions of migratory raptors (hawks, falcons, kites, vultures, and others) depart their breeding grounds in North America on a journey to new and temporary homes further south in order to survive food scarcity during the winter. As the Central American Isthmus becomes thinner and narrower, the groups congregate making massive congregations that we get to see from our homes in Panama City. Here is a little bit of a regular good day in Ancon Hill, Panama City.
