Sivota (Syvota) is a small fishing town in Northwestern Greece, immediately opposite the island of Corfu. It is surrounded by hills which are covered with lush Mediterranean greenery. The coast is characterized by rocky bays with crystal clear water and beautiful sandy and pebbly beaches. Sivota has a marina for yachts and fishing boats, as well as a paved walkway along the coast with plenty of restaurants and cafes with beautiful gardens to enjoy by the sea or from benches arranged along the marina. Together with several islands located beside, Sivota makes very picturesque and authentic landscape. It consists of only a few streets along the coast and a few blocks with villas and hotels on the hill, and within the central part of the town there is a large park. The center with numerous cafes and restaurants is situated next to the harbor. Sivota is surrounded by many large and small beaches which are gorgeous. Some of these beaches are accessible by foot, others by car, and some however are only accessible by boat. Gallikos Molos is the closest beach to the town. The beach is sandy and has a cafe where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. The sea is generally warm and ideal for families with children. Zeri beach is just after Gallikos Molos. The beach is sandy, the water is warm and you can sit for lunch or coffee. There are also water slides for the kids or the grown-ups of the party.One of the most exotic beaches is Bella Vraka, can be reached on foot in 15 minutes from the center of Sivota. This island is attached to the mainland by a narrow piece of sand, so you can get here even on foot. Megali Ammos is an amazing beach with crystal clear waters. This is a really great beach with many restaurants and cafe-bars.The beach is pebbly, well organized and the water is cool. Lots of sunbeds can be hired but if getting snacks or drinks from the taverna they come free. Just after Mega Ammos beach there is Mikri Ammos where you will find both food and bar. It is organized with one of the best beach-bars at the region. Karvouno beach is in front of the famous beach Bella Vraka. It's the nearest beach from the port of Sivota, in great location , with beautiful lush landscape. There's also a bar that offers snacks and drinks. On the beach there is parking space, and you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Mega Drafi (Mega Trafos) is a small sandy beach in an open bay. You can reach the beach by car. The beach is organized and there are also a beach bar. There are small pebbles in water in the first 5 meters but after that there are only big boulders.
