Lygia is a small peaceful fishing village on the shores of the Ionian Sea in Northwestern Greece, just across the island of Paxi. The beaches are sandy, mixed with gravel. There are few restaurant and a fantastic fish taverna near the harbor. The 3,5 km long sandy beach of Vrachos-Loutsa, with cafes, restaurants, mini-markets is within walking distance. Spectacular sunsets can be seen from every angle of this village. Equally beautiful are the usually crystal clear star-filled nights that can be enjoyed from the beach. The crystal clear blue waters are full of beautiful volcanic reef and sea life, which makes it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Due to its location, winds are often present here and big waves may appear, but this is the most suitable place in Preveza region if you want privacy and isolation.
