Int he last session the group prepared to head to Algor, Aoife asked Zaitari to contact the masters that were met in Inculta. There was a series of discussions and demonstrations that took place in the Astral Plane, which ended up with fourteen monk masters completing. While this was taking place the rest of the group would head over to Algor to meet with King Jonah to discuss the possibility of having the storm giants ally with the party for the upcoming battle, with Aoife backpack in toe. The group arrived in Algor and were greeted by Isadora and former regent Testor. When the party had inquired about the storm giants. King Jonah had explained that their country was in a truce with the storm giants. Recently the country had experienced a plane phase episode with the elemental plane of fire. Algor was in the middle of dispatching the remnants of the elemental plane of fire. Scouts had reported that the storm giants were dealing with fire element denizens of their own. To assist the party King Jonah allowed them to borrow his Frost Wyverns to ride to Castle Thunderstorm, where the King Azurite, leader of the Storm Giants of Algor, resided. When the group arrived at the castle, they found that the Storm Giants were in the middle of besieging their own castle that looked like fire denizens occupying it.
