Vic Yoder's video: Santa Fe K-Line Stack Train - La Mesa Model Railroad Club

At one time the Santa Fe had a pretty lucrative contract hauling container traffic full of goods for K-Line. Most of that traffic returned to Union Pacific. Since the late 1970s, UP has been a long time partner with K-Line providing the same service. K-Line traffic hauled by Santa Fe was primarily east/west traffic between Texas/Chicago/Kansas City the Port of Long Beach in California. This is a replica of a unit K-Line stack/COFC train at the La Mesa Model Railroad Club in San Diego, CA. All locomotives are equipped with Soundtraxx Tsunami / Tsunami 2 decoders and Current Keepers.
