@Coastal Texas - Scene from DISTURBANCE: Hurricane Harvey Stories
Before Hurricane Harvey, towns along the Southeastern Texas Coast boasted a livelihood rooted in tourism, fishing, and friendly smiles. Now, everything has changed. Covering three thousand miles, stretching from the wrecked coastal towns of Rockport and Port Aransas, to post-flood urban Houston, the state parks of Austin, and through the sweeping farm fields of south Texas, Disturbance is a portrait of the resilience and determination of a people who will not be defeated by one of the worst natural disasters in history. Determined to “pick themselves up and dust themselves off”, no matter the cataclysmic effect of Harvey on their lives, this film captures the work, sweat, the tears, and ultimately, the hope, that life in Texas will go on long after the news cameras have come and gone. Disturbance is a feature documentary produced by Vid Monster Productions and Finch Hill Films.
