A tribute to legendary film composer-conductor Ennio Morricone's "Ecstasy of Gold" (November 10, 1928 – July 6, 2020). Addio maestro! From the movie score for Sergio Leone's classic spaghetti western "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" (1966). The Sad Hill Cemetery scene featuring Eli Wallach as "Tuco" was filmed near Santo Domingo de Silos, Burgos, Spain. On a personal note, Cementerio de Sad Hill is on my bucket list for a visit... if for no other reason than to ensure the grave markers of we Three Amigos -- Dougout Doug, Dan the Man and Uptown Tom -- are finally planted as promised by the kind folks of Asociación Cultural Sad Hill. If not, I'm bringing a shovel and I WILL DIG to plant those markers myself... or to unearth the $200,000 in gold stashed in the grave marked Unknown. ¡Tenga un día bueno!
