Viking Stories's video: No more VIKINGS

So the TV show VIKINGS have just ended for good. I've only seen the first episode of the last season, so there are no spoilers here! What do you think is the worst historical error in the series? I'm giving you my THREE worst concerns in this video, but I would very much like to discuss more in the comments below! And regarding the Rus Vikings: There are many who will know by now that Vikings were the founders of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. These early Vikings were called Rus Vikings, known today as Igor, Sviatoslav, Vladimir the Great, Yaroslav the Wise, Olga of Kiev and many more. But their names were in fact Ingvar, Sveinald, Valdamarr gamli, Jarizleifr and Helga, all good Viking names. Rus became the common name for all Vikings from Scandinavia, which the name Russia stems from. They ruled in a large dynasty of Rurick princes and principalities which grew more and more powerful for more than 700 years, until the year 1600 when a giant volcanic eruption in Peru caused devastation and opened up for the Romanovs to take power in Russia. And just like with the Normans the Rus Vikings spoke their own language for close to one hundred years, before they adapted to local languages and names. In 1018 Norman nobles would send their children to Bayeux in order to learn Norse, so about a hundred years later it still was important to know Norse language.
