Vintage Fans & More's video: Which Ceiling Fan Is Faster Toastmaster vs Moss Caribbean Breeze

Through the years, a few people have asked which of these fans is faster. If you watch the newer videos together I think you can get the general idea, but I always hesitated to say positively because I'd never hung them right next to each other to physically compare. So get this: I hung them next to each other. 😛 The Toastmaster is controlled with the internal variable speed, the Moss is controlled with an Emerson 4 speed wall control for best range. I kinda wanted to put the Toastmaster on the same wall control for funsies, but y'all, I didn't have time and wanted to get this up before NCFD as a sneak preview! This video is just a simple run through of the general speed ranges and spindown. It's kind of amazing how close the spindown times are, with all of the factors of bearing wear, blade weight, full speed RPMs, etc. considered. I'll let you wizards of speed on video let me know what you think about high speed, in person I was better-able to see the difference.
