Vintage Fans & More's video: Craftmade Omni Ceiling Fan 1080p HD Remake

Craftmade Omni 52" ceiling fan in brushed nickel, still in the original packaging. This fan has always been a neat one to have, especially being in the box. Not an entirely common Craftmade model, but definitely a unique venture into earlier transitional ceiling fan design. Craftmade actually played a lot with these concepts, more than many other manufacturers, really driving some of this design movement forward. While my feelings about Craftmade have fluctuated over the years, that is one thing I've always respected about them. They carved their own niche of design in the 90s and transition into the 2000s, it wasn't a bunch of trend-following copycat stuff. I think in a way, similar to Quorum, there's been a lack of representation; so enthusiasts have never taken a huge interest in Craftmade and people like to hate on them for no good reason. It's a pretty prominent brand in my area, so I have more than a few in my collection and always enjoy finding different models. Personally, I find them to be very middle of the road in terms of showroom product 20 years ago, heck even 10 years ago. But today, their fans from back then are quite a bit more impressive when you look back at the scope of how the entire industry has evolved, and their current lineup is right in there with a lot of the competitive showroom brands, so I really can't say anything bad about them. It's a nice middle ground stamped steel build, good motor size, your upper average end for typical AC spinner motor airflow. I've always liked Craftmade's blades, too. Even for those that are simulated finish, they are well-executed, realistic, and sturdy. This one is very quiet, too. I've had some hit and miss with that from Craftmade, but this one really checks all the boxes on what I like about their fans,.
