Vintage Fans & More's video: Tatung Ceiling Fan Studio Remake

Tatung CFF-342AB 42" ceiling fan in antique brass, still in the original box. Something I really registered upon unboxing this one again was Tatung's extremely nice blade quality for the import market, especially for the era. They're a true wood finish, whereas lot of similar products at the time were using cheaper simulated overlays that don't often age too well unless extremely well cared-for. They're in perfect balance, with vibrant unique stencil. Truly the best part about this fan. Beyond that, I think Tatung had a really good quality control. Flawless finishes, and fairly quiet. Not a high-end fan by any means, the motor is small and not super powerful, but it all feels like a good quality for what it is. Performance is also good in that regard, nothing top tier but certainly functional! Another thing I appreciate about Tatung was implementation of their own unique design nuances, like the mounting hardware and stencil in this case. A little specialty detail goes a long way when so many factories were pumping out these little vented spinners, it makes you appreciate the ones that are a little different. They easily could've done what everyone else was doing because it was easy, but chose not to. Props for that.
