Vintage Fans & More's video: Lasko Sanyo Plastic Ceiling Fan 1080p Remake Update

Lasko (Sanyo) 48" ceiling fan in white. First off, to be clear, I'm clarifying Sanyo going forward but am not going back and updating previous videos from when the fan community just called all these top mounts Lasko. Suddenly now everyone wants to call them only Sanyo, so I'm just trying my best here to cover all the bases. 🤷‍♂️ Now onto the fan itself, it's actually not much of the same fan. Quite awhile back (before shutdown and quarantine) I found what appeared to have been a brand new-in-box motor at my Habitat. Had all the parts wrapped up with it, but no blades/arms/badges. I've kept an eye out since then in case they would turn up somewhere, but after a few weeks it didn't seem likely and the parts I had were just sitting until I recently assembled them. Because the original fan I found was missing the upper canopy and switch cap, I threw its blades on this more complete motor. So it's mostly a new fan that hasn't been shown on here before, but not fully. I still have the other motor and stuff, not sure if I'll do anything with it other than store it. I didn't go back and watch the other videos, but I think it's pretty much the same in every regard. While all of the different variants of these fans are really neat, I wouldn't call them the best of any category. Performance is good, but pretty average. They can be kind of noisy. Build isn't particularly premium, especially on the models like this with more plastic. Not saying they're "bad", just being realistic. Coolness factor outweighs all that here, in my opinion. Outstandingly unique fans, and so many variations which make them fun to find and collect.
