Vintage Fans & More's video: Moss Heirloom Ceiling Fan Studio Remake

Moss Heirloom 52" ceiling fan in polished brass. Recently came down off of display, which vlog followers will be seeing soon. It's been on my remake list for quite some time, so this was the time to get it done before putting it all away. Most notable change since the last video (that isn't overtly visible) is that I've corrected the bent blade arms pretty decently. Probably still not perfect, but it puts the fan in much better balance and thankfully nothing cracked or broke. I love pretty much anything that Moss labeled, but the Heirloom series in particular really does it for me. There was such a wide range of GE vent models that came out under the Heirloom umbrella; it's such a good Zephyr-copy import and fun to see just its own evolution based on what Moss was labeling and importing. These sort of less-refined earlier variants with the bell canopy and essentially black-colored chunky blades are a real treat, a bit less run of the mill and oh so powerful. This one is in pretty great used condition. Few cosmetic things here and there, little blade warpage, and an occasional light chatter of the bearings. I think they're probably getting a bit dry as you can see they're also somewhat stiff based on spindown. Overall can't complain, it's one of my favorite basic-style imports I've collected through the years.
