La víctima había declarado en su contra, pero estaba completamente segura de que fuera el culpable. Esa y otras negligencias en la investigación lo llevaron a permanecer en prisión por un delito que no cometió. Recién tres meses después, una prueba permitió que se revirtiera lo que para él ya era una larga pesadilla tras las rejas.
