It has been started keeping in mind the need to simplify our newspaper reading. It does not mean to replace newspaper reading rather it aims to complement your daily newspaper reading exercise. It will help aspirants in developing an eye for identifying the kind of news that should be read in the newspapers and understanding the different technical terms, complex phenomenon appearing in news. The language and length of articles in this bulletin has been designed in such a manner that the aspirant can finish reading the bulletin in 10-20 mins. The Hindu, Indian Express and PIB are primary sources of news. We also gather information about the articles from various other sources such as News on AIR, the Mint, Economic Times etc. It is important to understand that the objective here is not to increase the information overload at the very first level. The focus would be on providing primary level of information so that the aspirant can at least get an idea of the different things that are going on.
