Vivian McGrath's video: Janine s secret fear

@Janine's secret fear
Janine's secret fear after an abusive relationship. My client Janine works as a radiographer and sonographer in a small country town and lives on a beautiful property with her children and horses. To the outside world, her life looks idyllic and serene. But … it wasn’t always like that ... When she came to me she was trapped in self-doubt and struggling to let go and move on from an abusive relationship. She was crippled with guilt and secretly feared she was to blame for the abuse and the failure of her marriage. ‘What’s worse is I live in a small town and fear what others think and how they may judge me’, she confided in me. ‘I’m terrified of ending up alone’. So we had a simple goal to achieve - convince her she was not to blame for the breakdown of her marriage, break the cycle so she’d never repeat it again, have her embrace living alone with joy and reassure her that she was worthy and healthy love one day was not only possible but achievable. Right - we’ve got this! Within 8 weeks we completely lifted the veil from her eyes so she could see clearly why she ended up in an abusive relationship, so she never has to settle for less than she deserves ever again. She felt seen, heard and understood for the first time. And says she can’t have imagined how positive, happy and excited for her future she feels in such a short time. She will date again when she’s strong and ready, but for now she’s loving the stillness and serenity she’s never felt within before. So the thing is: it doesn’t matter if you’re from a small town in which you feel everyone may be judging you. It also doesn’t matter how much guilt you feel or if you’re secretly convinced you’re to blame for the abuse you suffered in your relationship. All those beliefs are untrue - they’re in your head. The TRUTH is that if you’re tired of feeling afraid and alone and sick of that inner critic that says you’re to blame for everything that’s gone wrong in your life … and want to find peace and serenity and hope for your future … and if you’re willing to do what it takes to face your fears head on and conquer them … … then I can give you the step-by-step strategy to make it happen. Look - I know it might feel like your situation is different to Janine’s and too far out of reach. You might be thinking: ‘Viv, I’d be happy to just get through one day without crying … how can I even think I will get rid of this guilt, not feel a failure, find happiness again and be excited about one day dating again?’ Well, if that’s what you’re thinking, I have good news: getting rid of guilt and blame, breaking the cycle of abusive relationships so you can find stillness and peace within, with or without a partner and know that when you’re ready you’ll not settle for less than you deserve again is achievable in less time than you think. It’s all there for you. You just need the exact steps, and the support to make it happen. Let me help. Let’s see how far we can transform YOUR life. If a middle-aged woman from a small country town can free herself from the guilt of an abusive relationship, find the courage and strength to tap into the power within her to find happiness, joy and serenity then why can’t you?
