We're back with the Karmann Ghia in the shop with a 1.8T 20v engine fitted from an Audi TT in for tuning. Basically a " Stage 2 " tune with a few deletes. Last time we had some problems but now we work through them and get the result for our customer The engine is the APX 225hp with K04 turbo Not seen i Karmann Ghia before ? here's a few details i found.... Internally designated the Type 14, the Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 (Beetle) with styling by Italy's Carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by German coachbuilding house, Karmann.
