For a visit to my family in Holland I had finally decided to take a direct flight as opposed to one with multiple stopovers. KLM actually fly 3 times a week between Amsterdam and Edmonton as (currently) the only European carrier, so it was only a matter of time for me until I got to try it out. KLM has recently renovated the interior on the A330 fleet and this A330 was actually the first one to get the new livery painted on it. However, this A330 is also one of two out of thirteen A330 aircraft in the KLM fleet NOT to get new economy seats and is still stuck with the old interior. In this video we'll also have a look at the brand new KLM Crown Lounge. The lounge has officially opened in November 2018 and is stunning, although KLM has made some questionable decisions.
