Last January I had to fly back from Vancouver to Edmonton after my Cathay Pacific flight. I had the choice between Air Canada, Flair Airlines and WestJet. Usually Flair are cheaper, but since I travelled with a carry on, it was actually a bit cheaper to fly with WestJet (hand luggage included) on their Boeing 737-600 than it was with Flair (hand luggage $35). While checking in, I got the offer to upgrade to Premium for $49, an offer that I couldn't resist.
