Pakistan National Anthem Instrumental Qaumi Taranah Music composed by Ahmed Chagla with Lyrics by Hafeez Jullundhri. The Qaumi Taranah (Urdu: قومی ترانہ‎, Qaumī Tarānah, English: “National Anthem”), is the official national anthem of Pakistan. The tune was composed by Ahmad G. Chagla in 1949 followed by the lyrics in 1952, written by the poet Hafeez Jullundhri. It was adopted as the official anthem in 1954, although sadly composer Ahmed G. Chagla, died in 1953. The anthem is regularly played prior to major events especially cricket matches, the most popular sport in Pakistan.
