Dreamy and magical is the best way to describe Tungabhadra river. The way it snakes through the landscape with giant boulders dotted with centuries old monuments and lush green plantations, you cannot help but sit on the banks and do nothing for hours at end! The only other place i got this feeling was the magical nile at luxor, very similar landscape. Cycle over to the banks with a little picnic basket and spend a few hours lazing around
