Nuri Muhammad: https://youtu.be/OBwICgldEYA Over the years we have seen many individuals from the hip hop community get accused of being anti-Semitic. Back in the early 90's, Professor Griff of rap group Public Enemy found himself in hot water because of comments deemed anti-Semitic. In 2020, entertainment mogul, Nick Cannon was the subject of similar trouble after a podcast episode with the aforementioned Griff. Even the athletes have faced accusations. In 2020, Eagles WR DeSean Jackson had to apologize for a social media post that was considered anti-Semitic. New York's beloved Knicks found their name embroiled in similar conversations as well. Back in 2001, then Knicks guard and former Heisman trophy winner at Florida State, Charlie Ward, was a topic of discussion when he was quoted as saying "They had his blood on their hands" when referring to the death of Jesus Christ. And now, hip hop icon Kanye West finds himself ingulfed in a similar firestorm. Back in November 2021, we asked Bro. Nuri Muhammad of the Nation of Islam about the possibility of a debate with representatives from the aggrieved community(ies). Bro. Nuri is a student minister in the Nation of Islam, an organization led by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, a man the Anti-Defamation League classified as "The Most Popular Antisemite in America" in a 2020 Blog. Typically we see the accused threatened with economic reprisals. Perhaps boycotting of their products, music, threaten to cut them from their team, or have business partners threaten to lock them out of specific industries. Which has led to dubious apologies from some. Yet we never get a clear understanding of what exactly they are apologizing for. I, William Holley, the host of WBH Radio, received my doctorate in 2021. Academic inquiry is the basis for research. Its about objectivity and getting to the truth no matter how uncomfortable it may be. I suggest a debate, expose the racist, biggots and anti-Semites for the world to see. Lets get down to the truth so we don't find ourselves in this situation again, so no one person or group has to be hurt anymore. Check out Bro. Nuri's answer!
